THE MAYBURY WEDDING
I always said that I would not shoot weddings. The two main reasons were that I felt that there was too much pressure and that I didn't have the equipment I would want in order to shoot a wedding properly. Then came along Brittney and Gavin...
It started out by them asking me to do their engagement photos. I was more than happy to do those for them, until half way through the shoot when they asked "So, why aren't you going to be our wedding photography?". I gave them my reasons, and they simply said, "We want you to do our photos, we aren't stressed about them, so you shouldn't be. As for the equipment that you don't have, we will rent you whatever it is you need", or something to that extent. Hearing that and that they were have an outdoor wedding in the Muskokas, they were really leaving me no choice BUT to do their wedding.
I was right, it was stressful, but only because of pressure that I put on myself, Brittney and Gavin were an absolute dream to work with!
